Why a written invoice?
A message asking for money isn't enforceable. A numbered, dated invoice is — and it's what finance teams need before they can pay you at all.

Is My Artist Toolkit really free?
Yes — every tool on the site is free to use, including PDF downloads. There's no paywall, no trial timer and no credit card. If you find it useful, the best way to say thanks is to share it with another freelancer.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool works the moment you open it — no sign-up, no password, no onboarding flow. We may ask for your email before a download so we can let you know when new tools launch, but that's it.
Do you store the information I type in?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser while the page is open and disappears when you close or reload the tab. Nothing you put into a form — client names, rates, addresses — is sent to or saved on a server.
Are these legal documents actually valid — is this legal advice?
The templates are written in plain English and cover the clauses freelancers most often need, and a signed document built from them is a real agreement. But they're general templates, not legal advice, and we're not lawyers — for a large contract or anything high-stakes, have a qualified lawyer look it over.
Can I use the exported PDFs commercially, with real clients?
Absolutely — that's the point. Every invoice, contract, NDA, CV or media kit you export is yours to send to real clients and use in your business, with no attribution or watermark.
